1. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the rod end of the steering cylinder to support it.2. Remove two bolts (1) and retainer (2) from the pin assembly. 3. Disconnect five lubrication hose assemblies (3).4. Using Tooling (A), remove pin assembly (4) from the rod end of the steering cylinder.5. Separate the front link, the rear link and the steering cylinder. 6. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the rear steering link. Remove the two bolts and retainer (6) from the pin assembly that holds the rear steering link in position.7. Using Tooling (A), remove pin assembly (5) from the rear steering link. 8. Remove rear steering link (10). The weight of the rear steering link is 41 kg (90 lb).9. Repeat Steps 4, 5 and 6 for front steering link (9). In addition, remove one nut (8) to disconnect rod end (7) of the steering servo sender cylinder from the front link. Remove the front steering link. The weight of the front steering link is 45 kg (100 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the steering links.10. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to front steering link (9). Put the front steering link in position, and install the pin assembly, retainer and two bolts that holds it. Connect rod end (7) of the steering servo sender cylinder to the front steering link with nut (8).11. Fasten a hoist to rear steering link (10). Put the rear steering link in position, and install pin assembly (5), the retainer and two bolts (6).12. Align the pin bores in the front steering link, the rear steering link and the rod end of the steering cylinder. Install pin assembly (4). 13. Install retainer (2) and two bolts (1) in the end of pin assembly (4).14. Connect lubrication hose assemblies (3) in their original locations.15. Lubricate all pin joints.
