Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood (clean emission module).
Remove the enclosure (cooling system package).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use a suitable lifting device to remove hood assembly (1). The weight of hood assembly (1) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb). Disconnect support assembly (2). Remove bolts (3). Remove hood assembly (1).
Remove bolts (4), spring (5), and the support assembly.

Remove bolts (6) and sheet assembly (7).

Remove bolts (8) and sheet (9).

Remove bolts (10) and jacket water heater (12). Remove bolts (11).

Remove cable straps (13).

Attach a suitable lifting device to support assembly (15). The weight of support assembly (15) is approximately 64 kg (141 lb). Remove bolts (14) and bolts (16). Remove support assembly (15). Installation Procedure
Install the engine enclosure in the reverse order of removal.
