When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.

PROBLEM
Certain Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) temperature sensors are failing on several product families and various machine models. Failures are primarily caused by moisture entry reaching the circuit board. The failures are reported as open, short, or intermittent electrical failures.
The potting level inside the sensor has now been increased to fully cover the circuit board and therefore provide better resistance to moisture and the resulting electrical damage.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect all 134-2252, 118-7226, 100-3055, and 288-8390 Temperature Sensors in dealer parts stock.
Check the label to determine when the sensor was made. The label is attached to the sensor sleeve.
The date code format is mmddyy (m=month, d=day, y=year) and consists of the first six digits of the third line of the label. The date code shown in Image1 is, 102512 and translates to October 25, 2012.
If a 134-2252, 118-7226, 100-3055, or 288-8390 Temperature Sensor has a date of September 24, 2012 and after, mark the packaging to indicate it has been inspected according to this program and return the part to dealer parts stock.
If a 134-2252, 118-7226, 100-3055, or 288-8390 Temperature Sensor has a date before September 24, 2012, remove the part from dealer parts stock.
