Circuit Breaker and Fuses
Reset or Change
If an electrical system fails, reset the circuit breaker if it opens, or replace fuses that have separated elements. Push the button to reset the main circuit breaker. If the breaker opens again, have the circuit checked.
Always replace fuses with the same type and capacity fuse that was removed.
To gain access to fuses, open the door on the panel at the front of the operator's compartment. Remove cover from the fuse panel.If the element of a new fuse separates, have the circuit checked.The fuses for the various circuits are identified as follows: 1. Spare - 10A AGC2. Starting Aid - 10A AGC3. Spare - 10A AGC4. Scraper Transmission - 10A AGC (Not Applicable) 5. Scraper Components - 10A AGC (Not Applicable)6. Air Dryer - 10A AGC7. Low Air Warning Circuit - 10A AGC8. Check Oil Level
Hot oil can cause burns.At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Remove the fill cap ONLY when the engine is stopped, and the cap is cool enough to touch with your hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.
The machine must be level with the bowl lowered and the ejector to the rear. The parking brake must be applied and the engine stopped. 1. Service Filters
Clean or change the air conditioner filters when a reduction in air circulation is noticed. 1. To clean the recirculating filters, loosen the thumbscrews and remove the panel at the top of the cab. 2. Remove the two sponge-type filters.3. Wash the filters in clean, warm water and a household detergent.4. Rinse them in clean water, and allow them to dry.5. Install the filters and the panel. 6. Unlock the filter covers on the front and rear of the unit, on the cab roof. 7. Remove and discard the two used filter elements.8. Install two new filter elements.9. Close and secure the doors. 10. Inspect the condition of the blades of the circulating fans. Make sure they are free of dirt and debris. 11. Check the four drain tubes from the drip pan located at each corner of the unit.12.
