816F Landfill Compactor is shown.The new guard can be installed onto the existing mounting blocks. The mounting blocks were effective with the 816F (S/N: BMR1-UP), 816F (S/N: 5FN1-UP) Landfill Compactors, 826G Series II (S/N: AYH1-UP) Landfill Compactors and 836G (S/N: BRL303-UP) Landfill Compactors. The mounting blocks are adaptable to first production of the machines that are listed. New 205-4106 Guard Assembly for the 816F Landfill Compactor
The new guard assembly is mounted to the two brackets that are located on the cab. If your machine is not equipped with brackets, the brackets need to be installed on the cab.

The two mounting brackets (1) may need to be welded to the cab. Weld the two 205-9846 Brackets to the cab. The bracket should be located 430 mm (16.93 inch) from the bottom corner of the cab (A) and 10 mm (.4 inch) (B) from the edge of the corner of the cab. Weld the bracket onto the cab. Use four 3 mm (.11 inch) fillet welds (2). The welds should be 50 mm (1.97 inch) in length.Install the new guard onto the cab. Use the new bolts and washers, as shown.Note: The brackets can be installed onto the new guard and then used as a template in order to locate the brackets.New 215-9155 Guard Assembly for the 826G Landfill Compactor, the 826G Series II Landfill Compactor and the 836G Landfill Compactor
The new guard assembly is mounted to the four brackets that are located on the cab. If your machine is not equipped with brackets, the brackets need to be installed on the cab.

(C) 10 mm (.40 inch)Weld the four 215-9153 Blocks (1) onto the cab, as shown. Use a 3 mm (.12 inch) fillet weld that is located 4 places on each block. Each weld should be 45 mm (1.77 inch) in length.Install the new guard assembly. Use the new bolts and washers.Note: The brackets can be installed onto the new guard and then used as a template in order to locate the brackets.
