This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4080" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 4I6208 Orifice Plug in the 5I3196 Block for the fine swing control system may loosen and come out on certain 325, 325L, 330 and 330L Excavators. The system may malfunction and could cause the swing motor to fail. The 4I6208 Plug needs to be reworked.

1. Remove the 5I3196 Block from swing motor. Remove the 3K8460 Plug from the block.2. Remove the 4I6208 Plug with 4.0 mm hex wrench. Remove oil and dirt from threads of the plug and the plug itself with a cleaning solvent and dry them. 3. Apply thread locking material to the plug and install. Tighten to a torque of 15 N m.4. Reinstall all other part that were previously removed. If the plug or the block is found to be damaged, replace them with new. If they are damaged severely, disassemble the swing motor and flush the system.
