Remove plate (34) from the body. It may be necessary to use a hammer and a punch to remove the plate.

Remove ring (35) and retainer (33) from the shaft.

Remove oil seal (36) from front cover (33) .

Remove retaining ring (37) and bearing race (39) from the end of the shaft.
Remove two retaining rings (40) that position bearing (38) on the shaft.
Place the shaft in a press. Press the shaft out of bearing (38) .
Use the following procedure to disassemble relief valves (1) .
