Procedure for MVP Field Installation
Contact Caterpillar Program Headquarters at 1-800-810-7854 (Outside the USA send a FAX to 309-578-2559 or an e-mail to Targeted_Marketing@Cat.com) in order to receive a free package consisting of a new 281-7752 Film, Special Instruction, REHS3083, "Procedure for MVP Field Installation", and a new Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM). Be sure to provide a shipping address and the machine serial number(s) in order to get the correct OMM. Also, notify them if you need the OMM in any language other than English. MVP software that is applicable can be downloaded from SIS Web. A Factory Password will be required to complete the installation of MVP.

Examples of the display are "1 F", "2 F", or "3 F". The following conditions must be met in order to enable System MVP:
Utilize ET version 2005B or later.
Go to the Steer/Brake/Transmission Configuration screen
Change MVP installation status to INSTALLED
Obtain the factory password to complete installation of MVP.
Conduct an orientation to the customer on the functionality of MVP. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM), "Operation".
Provide the operator with the latest revision of the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
