The cab for the 768C & 769C is similar to the cabs for the 773 and 777 Trucks. There is a door on each side of the operator's station. The doors each have a drop window, and a vent window that can be opened for ventilation. The front windshield, the rear window, and the side and door windows are all tinted glass.Sound suppression panels have been used to make the cab noise tight. Hose connections and connections to the controls have been made outside of the cab.Most of the electrical and air control lines go out of the cab at a junction plate at the right hand rear corner of the cab. Each of these lines can be disconnected at this cab chassis connection.The cab has an operator's seat and also a passenger seat with a head rest. The housing for the heater and air conditioner with a cushion on top of it makes the passenger seat.
