Caterpillar Engine Division has produced a new video entitled "3208 Marine Engine Operation and Maintenance." This 39-minute VHS format video explains engine operation and shows the simple maintenance that your 3208 Marine Diesel Engine requires.
The video covers the topics of engine systems, basic engine operation, preventive maintenance, winterizing and troubleshooing.
Cat 3208 Marine Engines were moved into a studio to best explain features and show service points. Taping was also done below decks and topside on a yatch. Animated graphics are used to illustrate engine operation principles.
Included with the video are an Engine Operation and Maintenance Manual and a die-cast "Cat Diesel Power" plate for your boat.
To get the video, mail a check for U.S. $35 and a note with the horsepower rating of your 3208 Marine Engine (either 425 or 210-375 hp, to receive the correct Manual for your engine). Mail check to:
