All Caterpillar ProductsA new ratchet tube wrench group is available for use. The new ratchet tube wrenches are available as a group or can be ordered individually. Ratchet tube wrenches are stronger than crowfoot-type wrenches and require less clearance. The ratchet tube wrenches will ratchet in 45° increments (1/8 of a turn) and have a lifetime warranty. The new wrenches fit all six and twelve point fittings and valves. They also work well on O-ring face seal hydraulic fittings which require higher torques than the JIC fittings.
The new wrenches are available in sizes from 3/8" to 1 5/8" with either straight, integral handles or handles adapted for 1/2" square drive (see Illustration 1).
