Components for the Transmission Hydraulic Control    
(1) Manifold     This component delivers oil to rotary actuator (7).    
(2) Downshift solenoid     This component controls the movement of rotary actuator (7) during downshifts.    
(3) Upshift solenoid     This component controls the movement of rotary actuator (7) during an upshift.    
(5) Pressure control valve     This component controls oil flow. The component controls the rate of pressure increase and decrease. The component controls oil pressure in the clutches.    
(6) Selector valve     This component controls pump pressure. The component controls the amount and direction of pilot pressure oil to pressure control valve (5) and torque converter inlet pressure.    
(7) Rotary actuator     This component controls the movement of the rotary selector spool.    
(13) Manifold     This component delivers oil to the transmission clutches, the transfer gear lube, the torque converter, the oil cooler and the transmission.
