Put identification marks on the pump housings (1) and separate the housings. Remove gasket (2) between the housings.

Remove locknut (4), the washer, and gear (3).
Remove retainer ring (5) with Tooling (A).

Remove nut (6) from the impeller shaft.
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove the impeller shaft from the impeller.
Remove impeller (7) from the housing.

Remove water pump seal assembly (8). Separate the components. Inspect each component.

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove the impeller shaft completely out of the pump housing.

Remove key (9) and shims (11). Remove retainer ring (10 ) from bearing with Tooling (C).
Remove key (13), spacer (12), and the retainer ring. Remove the retainer ring with Tooling (C).

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press. Push the shaft from bearings (14) and spacer (15).

Remove lock (17) and remove gear assembly (16).

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press to push gear from the shaft.

Remove ceramic ring (20).
Remove slinger (21) from the pump housing.
