Disregard the previous article, refer to the article that follows.Description of Change: The new exhaust valves have been developed to eliminate internal cracking that has been observed in specific high altitude regions. The new manufacturing process has been used for exhaust valves in natural gas engines and has proven robustness. Adaptable To: The new 443-2712 Exhaust Valve replaces the existing 194-4897 Exhaust Valve. The new exhaust valve is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.This change is effective with all engine serial numbers built on or after 20December 2013.
