Information:

Do not disconnect the air lines until the air pressure in the system is at zero.
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. 2. Remove water line (2). Disconnect hose (1).3. Disconnect two lines (3) from the transmission oil cooler.4. Remove four bolts (4), two bolts (5) and transmission oil cooler group (6) from engine. 5. Remove bonnets (7), (8) and the gaskets from oil cooler group (6). 6. Clean the tubes of the transmission oil cooler with a 3.96 mm (.156 in.) diameter rod, used as shown. The following steps are for the installation of the transmission oil cooler. 7. Install the gasket and bonnet (8) on the oil cooler (6). 8. Install bonnet (7) and the gasket on the oil cooler as shown.9. Put bonnet (7) and oil cooler (6) in position. Install the gasket and bolts that hold bonnet (8) to the engine oil cooler and cylinder block. 10. Install water line (1). Connect air line (2).11. Inspect the tube assembly O-ring seals for damage and make a replacement if necessary. Put clean oil on the O-ring seals and install them in position.12. Connect tube assemblies (3) to the transmission oil cooler.13. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
