This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8582" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Termination Date
July 31, 1997Problem
The cab door may crack on D3C, D4C and D5C III Track Type Tractors and 933 and 939 Track Type Loaders. The failure is a result of vibration experienced when operating the machine with the cab door open.

Before Failure
1. Weld 1245236 Bracket Assembly to the cab as shown in Illustration 2.2. Paint the welded area.3. Install 7X2393 Bumper and 5C7261 Nut into bracket assembly (as shown in Illustration 3) so that the door makes firm contact with the bumper when opened.After Failure
1. Install bumper as instructed in Steps 1 - 3 above.2. Replace failed cab door with 1244246 Cab Door Group.
