Used to read and program the alarm mode that sounds when an object is detected near the machine. In "Continuous" mode, anytime the system detects an object, an audible alarm will sound, starting with a frequent alarm at some distance away then will progressively shorten in period as the object travels closer to the sensor, and will end with a constant tone when an object is sufficiently close.
