Information:

The hydraulic system is under pressure. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure from the hydraulic system by loosening the cap on the hydraulic tank. Do this before any service work is done.
1. Open the door assembly over the hydraulic tank.2. Remove bolts (1) and remove the bypass valve from the hydraulic tank. 3. Remove two filter elements (2) from the hydraulic tank.4. Remove screen assembly (3) from the hydraulic tank. 5. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the cover.6. Remove three screws (6) to remove housing (5) from the retainer assembly.
Retainer (8) is under a spring force from spring (9). To prevent possible personal injury, use a press to release the force from the spring. The released length of the spring is 133.35 mm (5.25 in.).
7. Put housing (5) under a press and make a compression of spring (9). Remove pin (7) from the shaft and slowly release the press until the force of the spring is removed. 8. Remove retainer (8) and spring (9) from the housing. 9. Remove retainer (12), shaft (10) and plate (11) from housing (5).
Retainer assembly (13) is under a force from spring (15). To prevent possible personal injury, hold retainer assembly (13) down when bolt (14) is removed and slowly release the retainer assembly to remove the spring force. The released length of the spring is 229 mm (9 in.).
10. Hold retainer assembly (13) down and remove bolt (14). Release retainer assembly (13) slowly until the spring force is removed. Remove retainer assembly (13) and spring (15) from the cover. 11. Remove ball (16) from cover (17).Install Bypass Valve And Hydraulic Oil Filter
1. Install ball (1) in cover (2). 2. Put spring (4) and retainer assembly (3) in position on cover (2). Make a compression of spring (4) and retainer assembly (3) to install the bolt to hold these in position. 3. Install plate (6) and shaft (5) on housing (7). 4. Install retainer (8) over shaft (5). 5. Put spring (10) and retainer (9) in position on the housing. 6. Use a press to make a compression of the spring and retainer to install pin (11) to hold these in position. 7. Put housing (7) in position on retainer assembly (3) and install the three screws to hold the housing in position. 8. Install O-ring seal (12) on the cover. 9. Install screen assembly (13) and two filter elements (14) in the hydraulic tank.10. Install the bypass valve on the hydraulic tank and install the four bolts to hold the valve.11. Close the door assembly over the hydraulic tank.
