Removal Procedure
Move the ejector forward. Release hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Hydraulic Pressure-Release".

Remove drive shaft guard (1).
Remove drive shaft (2). The drive shaft bolts must be discarded. The weight of drive shaft (2) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Use two people in order to remove drive shaft (2). Installation Procedure

Install drive shaft (2). The weight of drive shaft (2) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Use two people in order to install drive shaft (2). The drive shaft bolts must be replaced with new drive shaft bolts. The drive shaft bolts must be torqued properly. Tighten the drive shaft bolts to a torque of 140 14 N m (103 10 lb ft).
Install drive shaft guard (1).
