The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5304" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. This Revised Service Letter replaces the August 17, 1997 Service Letter. Problem
A new Heinzmann actuator has been released that will improve reliability. The changes made to the actuator will incorporate improvements to the heat sink, electrical insulation, mounting of the power supply diode, corrosion protection of the magnet, bronze bushing on the output shaft, and cover seal to better protect the internal components from the environment.
