Information:
Warm the oil in the test bench to 50°C (125°F) and maintain this temperature for the duration of the test. Rotate the input shaft at 600 5 rpm (CCW) in Neutral. Shift the transmission through all direction and speed ranges to eliminate air from the transmission controls. Check for lock-up or excessive drag in all ranges. Stop rotation of the input shaft. Use the following procedures to check the transmission. Do not shift the transmission into reverse at any input speed other than 800 rpm.Priority (Pilot) Reducing Valve
1. Adjust input flow to 69 4 lpm (18 1 gpm).2. Adjust input rotation to 800 5 rpm in Neutral. 3. Shift the transmission into First range.4. Priority reducing valve pressure must be 1725 70 kPa (250 10 psi).Neutralizer Valve
1. Stop input rotation in a range other than Neutral. 2. Adjust the input flow to 69 4 lpm (18 1 gpm) and the input shaft rotation to 800 5 rpm.3. The neutralizer valve must prevent any pressure rise at any of the selector valve stations.4. Shift the transmission into Neutral; pressure at station F must rise to normal.Lube Relief Valve
1. Shift into First range; adjust the input flow to produce a lube outlet flow of 38.0 0.4 lpm (10.0 1 gpm).2. Momentarily block off the lube outlet using gate valve. 3. Lube outlet pressure must be 930 100 kPa (135 15 psi).4. Open gate valve.Lube Circuit Check
1. Adjust lube output flow to 132.5 4 lpm (35 1 gpm); shift to Second; adjust input rotation to 2150 30 rpm.2. Lube pressure at lube outlet must be 143 11 lpm (21 1.6).Initial Pressure Check
1. Remove test cover and the load piston plugs from all seven selector valve stations; then reinstall test cover.2. Adjust input rotation to 800 5 rpm and input flow to 69 4 lpm (18 1 gpm).3. Shift the transmission through all ranges and record the primary clutch pressures in each range.4. Compare the recorded readings with the chart on the next page. Unless otherwise specified all pressures are +50 / -35 kPa (+7 / -5 psi). Low Idle Pressure Check
1. Reinstall the load piston plugs and test cover.2. Adjust input rotation to 800 5 rpm and input flow to 69 4 lpm (18 1 gpm).3. Shift the transmission through ranges, R1, R2, N, and 1 and record the primary clutch pressures in each range.4. Compare the recorded readings with the following chart. Unless otherwise specified all pressures are +240 / -100
