Illustration 1.2. Remove six bolts (2) that fasten fan pulley (4) to fan drive hub (3).3. Slide fan drive pulley toward the fan to the narrow portion of the fan drive hub. This will allow enough space to pass water pump belt (6) between the bottom of the fan drive pulley and the top of the crankshaft pulley.4. Loosen two bolts (5) on the bracket for the water pump idler pulley. See Illustration 2.
Illustration 2.5. Remove water pump belt (6) by passing it over the crankshaft pulley.6. Install the pump belt in reverse order of removal. Follow the procedure in Operation And Maintenance Manual XEBU9591 for belt tension adjustment and torque values on the bolts.
