Illustration 1 g03838655Note: When installing the adaptor note TOP. Position so that the sensors are in the vertical position.
Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (11). The weight of turbocharger (11) is approximately 305 kg (672 lb).
Install turbocharger (11) and bolts (10). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 460 50 N m (339 37 lb ft). Retighten bolts (10) to a torque of 960 100 N m (708 74 lb ft).

Install bolts (8) and bolts (9). Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (8) and bolts (9). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft).

Install shield (4) and bolts (6). Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 65 5 N m (48 4 lb ft).
Connect tube assembly (5) and tube assembly (7).

Connect temperature sensor (3). Tighten temperature sensor to a torque of 45 10 N m (33 7 lb ft).
Install elbow (2) and V-band clamp (1). Apply Tooling (A) to V-band clamp (1). Tighten V-band clamp (1) to a torque of 60 5 N m (44 4 lb ft).End By:
Install air cleaner.
Install exhaust manifold shield.
