2) Remove the 8T-6411 Screw (3) and the ground wire (4).
3) Pull on the wire that comes through the center of the column (5) so that the wire is tight. Cut the wire so that the wire retracts into the column. When this is done install the new 8R-2916 Cover As.
The removed parts will not be reused.

4) Remove the steering column cover.
5) Unplug the black wire from wire 320-OR at the connection (6).
6) Tape the end of the terminal on wire 320-OR in order to prevent accidental grounding of the horn circuit.

7) Cut the black wire (7) from the steering column at the terminal. Cutting the wire will disable the horn completely.

8) Remove the top of the front console. Remove the blank (8).

9) Retrieve connector (9) on 213-6040 Console Harness As (10) that has wires: 200-BLK, 202-BLK, 320-OR and 614-PU.

10) Insert the connector through the appropriate opening and mate the connector to 214-4701 Rocker Switch (11).
11) Reassemble the console.
