The following types of documents should be kept as proof of maintenance or repair for warranty and should not be difficult to obtain and keep in the engine history file. All documents should show date, service hours, gallons of fuel consumed, unit number and engine serial number. If the engine is sold, transfer the records with the engine.1. Dealer work orders and itemized bills.2. Owner's repair orders.3. Owner's receipts.4. Maintenance log (see following example).Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for more information on maintenance pertaining to fuel consumption and service hours.
