Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the auger. Refer to Service Manual, "Auger - Remove and Install".
Remove the chain assembly. Refer to Service Manual, "Chain - Remove and Install".
Remove the gerotor motor. Refer to Service Manual, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".
Remove the sprocket. Refer to Service Manual, "Sprocket - Remove and Install".
Remove the trencher drive from the trencher. Refer to Service Manual, "Trencher Drive - Remove".
Remove the idler. Refer to Service Manual, "Idler - Remove and Install".

Remove the nuts, the washers and three bolts (1) .
Use a suitable lifting device to support the weight of the arm assembly. The weight of the 122 cm (48 inch) arm assembly is 30 kg (66.0 lb). The weight of the 152 cm (60 inch) arm assembly is 41 kg (90.0 lb).
Remove the arm assembly from the support assembly.

Remove the nuts, the washers and four bolts (2) .
Use a suitable lifting device to remove the support assembly. The weight of the support assembly is 50 kg (110.0 lb).Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to place the support assembly into position. Install four bolts (2), the washers and nuts. Tighten the nuts.
Use a suitable lifting device to lift the arm assembly. Slide the arm assembly into position over the support assembly.

Install three bolts (1), the washers and the nuts. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.End By:

Install the trencher drive onto the trencher. Refer to Service Manual, "Trencher Drive - Install".
