Remove retaining ring (1) and retaining ring (2). Remove bearing assembly (3) and output shaft (4) .

Disconnect harness assembly (5) and harness assembly (6). Remove the connecting hardware.

Disconnect harness assembly (7) and remove the connecting hardware.

Remove bolts (8) and cover (9) .

Remove O-ring seal (10), magnetic filter (11) and screen (12) .

Remove bolts (13) and oil pan (14) .

Remove tube assembly (16) and tube assembly (17). Remove bolts (18) in order to remove housing (19) .

Remove bolts (20) in order to remove gear pump (21) .

Remove O-ring seal (23) .

Remove plug (24) and bolt (25) .

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto torque converter (26). The weight of torque converter (26) is approximately 227 kg (500 lb).
Remove nuts (27). Remove torque converter (26) from the transmission.

Remove seal (28) .
If necessary, remove studs (29) .
