Remove Oil Cooler (Industrial Engine)
1. Remove oil from oil cooler. Remove coolant from engine. 2. Remove four bolts (3) that hold oil cooler to oil filter base.3. Remove four bolts (2) that hold oil cooler to cylinder block. Remove engine oil cooler (1).4. Remove inlet coupling (4) from the oil cooler. 5. Remove water outlet pipe (5) from oil cooler.Install Oil Cooler (Industrial Engine)
1. Put clean engine oil on O-ring seal. Install water outlet pipe into oil cooler. 2. Put clean engine oil on O-ring seals (2) of coupling and install coupling (1) in the oil cooler. 3. Put oil cooler in position on filter base.4. Install four bolts that hold oil cooler to oil filter base.5. Install four bolts that hold oil cooler to cylinder block and fill engine with coolant to correct level.Remove Oil Cooler (Marine Engine)
1. Remove coolant from oil cooler. 2. Remove two bolts (2) that hold tube assembly to bonnet (1).3. Remove two bolts (3) that hold bonnet (1) to water pump. 4. Remove two bolts (5) that hold oil outlet line to oil cooler.5. Remove two bolts (4) that hold oil inlet line to oil cooler.6. Remove the engine oil cooler.7. Remove bonnet from oil cooler.8. Remove adapter from oil cooler.Install Oil Cooler (Marine Engine)
1. Install new O-ring seals if needed. Put liquid soap on all O-ring seals. 2. Install adapter (2) in oil cooler (3).3. Install bonnet (1) on adapter. 4. Put the oil cooler (4) in position on engine.5. Install two bolts that hold oil inlet line to oil cooler.6. Install two bolts that hold oil outlet line to oil cooler.7. Install two bolts that hold bonnet to water pump.8. Install two bolts that hold tube assembly to bonnet.9. Fill engine with coolant to correct level.
