Check the Affected Product for cracks above the weld that was not completed and/or in the side of the gooseneck. Vee out any cracks and reweld. Weld two back-up strips 6 x 25 x 50 mm (.25 x 1.0 x 2.0") in place under the bottom side of the joint and weld as shown in Detail A. Grind the edges of the joint smooth.
