(1) 6V-8569 Bolt (2) 153-5044 Hard Washer (3) 185-4306 Special Washer A new 6V-8569 Bolt (1) and a new 153-5044 Hard Washer (2) replace the former 7X-2569 Bolt and the former 8T-4123 Plated Washer for securing the lower hitch pin on the oscillating hitch on the listed machines. The new bolt and new washer assembly is effective on 735 (S/N: B1N243-UP), 740 (S/N: B1P387-UP) and 740 EJECTOR (S/N: B1R173-UP). The new bolt and new washer assembly is directly adaptable on all earlier machines that are listed.The new 6V-8569 Bolt and new 153-5044 Hard Washer are direct replacements for the 7X-2569 Bolt and the former 8T-4123 Plated Washer. When you use the new bolt and the new washer to install a lower hitch pin, refer to the Service Magazine article that is referenced concerning the mating surfaces of the lower hitch pin and the oscillating hitch.The 185-4306 Special Washer (3) that is installed with the bolt and the washer has also been modified. The old version of the special washer had a 25 mm (0.9843 inch) hole for the bolt. The new version of the special washer has a 21 mm (0.8268 inch) hole for the bolt. Replacing the old version of the special washer with a newer version of the special washer will further improve the retention of the lower hitch pin.
