Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Verify that all of the components of the modulating valve for the torque converter lockup clutch are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install electrical sensor (12) to manifold (9) .

Install three O-ring seals (11) to manifold (9) .

Position torque converter priority valve (4) and the O-rings to manifold (9) for the modulating valves.
Install four bolts (10) and the washers that secure torque converter priority valve (4) to the manifold (9) for the modulating valves.

The view is on the left side of the torque converter near the top of the torque converter.
Attach Tool (A) to torque converter priority valve (4). Position a suitable lifting device to Tool (A). Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist.
Position torque converter priority valve (4) and manifold (9) to the torque converter as one unit. The weight of the unit is 25 kg (55 lb).
Install three bolts (8) and the washers that secure manifold (9) for the modulating valves to the torque converter.

Connect wiring harness (7) at the electrical connection.
Connect wiring harness (6) at the electrical connection. Connect wiring harness (5) at the electrical connection.

Connect hose assembly (2) and hose assembly (3) to torque converter priority valve (4) .

Install drain plug (1) to the torque converter. Check the oil level of the transmission oil. If necessary, fill the transmission oil.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Transmission Oil Level Check". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the appropriate oil. The capacity of the power train system is 379 L (100 US gal).
Close the two door assemblies behind the cab.
After the machine idles for two minutes, recheck the oil level of the transmission oil. If necessary, fill the transmission oil.End By:
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
