(3) Brake accumulator oil pressure switch for alert indicatorCaterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) monitors the circuit to brake accumulator oil pressure switch for alert indicator (3). When the brake accumulator oil pressure decreases below the preset value, the contacts of the brake accumulator oil pressure switch will close. The closing of the contacts will create a ground circuit to the Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1). Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) will turn on brake accumulator oil pressure alert indicator (2).If the braking system oil pressure decreases further, the parking brake may automatically engage.
