Remove the pump drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove bolts (3) and retainer (4) that secures adapter (7) to bearing (6).
Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (5).
Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press to remove assembled bearing (6) and gear (2) from adapter (7).
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing (6) from gear (2).
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing (1) from gear (2).
