PUMP GP-GOV, FUEL INJ & TFR 7N1250 - Caterpillar

Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove four bolts (1) and the nuts from pressurizer assembly (2) .

Disconnect electrical connector (3) .
Remove pressurizer assembly (2) .

Remove covers (4) and (5) .

Disconnect seven electrical connectors (6) .

Remove two bolts (7) and bracket (8). Move bracket (8) out of the way.

Disconnect five hose assemblies (9) .
Remove two bolts (10) and parking brake control valve (11) .Installation Procedure

Install parking brake control valve (11) and two bolts (10) .
Connect five hose assemblies (9) .

Install bracket (8) and two bolts (7) .

Connect seven electrical connectors (6) .

Install covers (5) and (4) .

Install pressurizer assembly (1), four bolts (2) and the nuts.
Purge the air from the parking brake. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, Braking System, "Braking System Air - Purge".
Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".End By: Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
