Marine Engines ( 75V1-8334, 1Z1-2767)Description of Change: A new overhaul kit is available for the former 3N9009 Sea Water Pump used on 3208 Marine Engines (75V1-8334, 1Z1-2767). The overhaul kit has an improved impeller. The new impeller is made from a material that has more resistance to cracks. This new material will give the impeller a longer service life. Identification of the new impellers can be made by its color. The new impellers are yellow. The former impellers are black. A new sea water pump is used instead of the 3N9009 Sea Water Pump (part of the 2W297 Pump Group). For more information about the new pump, see the September 12, 1983 Service Magazine.
Adaptable As: The new 4W6422 Overhaul Kit is a direct replacement for the former 3N1913 Overhaul Kit, which is canceled. The overhaul kits have a new seal assembly, a new gasket and a new impeller assembly.
