1. Close valves (1) and (4).2. Use tool (A) to remove coolant conditioner element (5) from base (3).3. Identify hoses (2) and (6) from correct installation.4. Disconnect hoses (2) and (6) from base (3).5. Remove coolant conditioner element base (3) from the engine. The following steps are for installation of the coolant conditioner element and base.6. Install coolant conditioner element base (3), and connect hoses (2) and (6).7. Put clean coolant on the gasket of coolant conditioner element (5). Install coolant conditioner element (5) on base (3). After the gasket makes contact with the base, tighten it 3/4 additional turn.8. Open valves (1) and (4).
