This flat surface will not wear significantly and eliminates the need for adjustment because of the rounded surface wearing flat.Adaptable To: The 149-4745 Slider Block Kit replaces the former 8Y-5889 Slider Block Kit, and is adaptable to earlier machines by replacing the existing slider blocks with the 149-4744 Slider Blocks from the 149-4745 Slider Block Kit. The 149-4744 Slider Blocks are not serviced individually, but are available in the 149-4745 Slider Block Kit. Earlier machines using the former slider blocks can be adjusted without replacing the slider blocks by following the procedure in the Service Manual referenced above. This adjustment is recommended after 250 wear in hours and as required thereafter.
