Lay the mast on a suitable work area.
Remove the six hex screws (5) .
Insert center bolt (6) and remove the mast base plate (4) .

Remove the four screws (3) that secure the motor cover.
Remove the motor cover.

Mark the motor wires (1) and disconnect the motor wires at the inline connections.
Reconnect the motor wires at the inline connection using the opposite configuration.
Reinstall the motor cover and the base plate.
Apply machine power to the mast in order to ensure the mast moter travel is correct.Expected Result:Motor travel is correct.Results:
Yes - Motor travel is correct. Re-install mast on the machine. Return the machine to normal operation. Stop.
NO - Motor travel is not correct.Repair: Replace the motor.
Remove the two screws (2) that secure the motor to the mast base.
Remove the motor.
Re-install the motor.
Re-assemble the mast and test the mast for proper operation.. Stop.
