5G1550 Ether Starting Aid Group
(1) Fasten 5G1578 Bracket (1) to guard (2) with 9H7084 Washers (3), 5P1075 Washers (4) and 1D4717 Nuts. Install 6N7673 Valve Assembly (5) and clamp (6) to bracket (1) with 2H3755 Bolts and 4B4277 Washers. (2) Remove the manifold plug and install 6N7672 Atomizer Assembly (7), with orifice (8) toward the engine; arrow (9) is in line with orifice (8). (3) Install 5G660 Tube (10) to atomizer (7) and fasten to the valve cover with 3D5102 Grommet and 8M2772 Clip. Fasten 7N140 Tube Assembly (11) to tube (10). (4) Remove the plug and install 6N5899 Switch (12); connect 5G1586 Purple Wire (13) to switch (12). Fasten 5G1581 Tube (14) to tube (11). (5) Assemble 5P6314 Sleeve (15) and 5P6313 Nut (16) to 5P6315 Elbow (17); put the elbow on valve (5). Put the end of tube (14) in nut (16) and tighten the nut. (6) Connect wire (13) to wire (18) and connect wire (19) to purple wire (20) of the existing wiring harness. (7) Remove the button and install 3T306 Starting Aid Switch (21), where the button was removed. (8) Connect 5G2542 Wire (22) to terminal AC on start switch (23) and to one terminal on switch (21). Connect purple wire (24) of the existing wiring harness to the other terminal on switch (21). (9) Install 7N296 Canister (25) into valve (5) hand tight. Fasten the clamp tightly around the canister. Fasten 2V1713 Tag to valve (5).5G2541 Ether Starting Aid Group
(1) Install 7N2059 Clamp (1) and 6N7673 Valve Assembly (2) to 5G2480 Plate (3), with four 4B3849 Washers and 1C569 Bolts. (2) Fasten plate (3) to guard (4) with two S509 Bolts (5). (3) Remove the manifold plug and install 6N7672 Atomizer Assembly (6), with orifice (7) toward the engine; arrow (8) is in line with orifice (7). (4) Install 5G660 Tube (9) to atomizer (6) and fasten to the valve cover with 3D5102 Grommet and 8M2772 Clip. Connect 7N140 Tube Assembly (10) to tube (9). (5) Remove the plug and install 6N5899 Switch Assembly (11); connect 5G663 Purple Wire (12) between switch (11) and wire (13) from valve (2). Connect wire (14) from valve (2) to the purple wire of existing wiring harness (15). (6) Assemble 5P6314 Sleeve (16) and 5P6313 Nut (17) to 5P6315 Elbow (18); put the elbow on valve (2). Install one end of 5G659 Tube (9) in nut (17) and the other end in nut (20) of tube (10). Tighten the nuts. (7) Remove the button and install 3T306 Starting Aid Switch (21), where the button was removed. (8) Fasten 5G3635 Wire Assembly (22) to switch (21) and to the purple wire of the existing wiring harness. (9) Install 7N296 Canister (23) into valve (2) hand tight. Fasten the clamp tightly around the canister. Fasten 2V1713 Tag to valve (2).
