J1939 Code    Description    Information About the Code    
111-17     Engine Coolant Level - Low - Least Severe (1)     The coolant level sensor and the circuit for the sensor are OK. The coolant level is low.
Factory passwords are required in order to clear the code.    
111-1     Engine Coolant Level : Low - Most Severe (3)     The coolant level sensor and the circuit for the sensor are OK. The coolant level is low.
The ECM activates this code after a 111-17 code has been active for a few seconds.
Factory passwords are required in order to clear the code.    
111-14     Engine Coolant Level : Special Instruction     The coolant level sensor and the circuit for the sensor are OK. The coolant level is low.
The ECM activates this code when the coolant level is low and there are less than six hours on the diagnostic clock.
Factory passwords are not required in order to clear the code.    The system response depends on the engine run time. Refer to Illustrations 1 and 2.
