A 138-7574 Link Bracket 2 Start By:
Remove the engine oil filter housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filter Housing - Remove".
Remove the idler gears. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Idler Gears (Front) - Remove and Install".
Remove the crankshaft front seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Front Seal - Remove".

Disconnect tubes (1) and (2). Remove covers (3). Disconnect bracket (4).

Disconnect tube (5).

Remove bolts (6). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto front drive housing (7). The weight of front drive housing (7) is approximately 363 kg (800 lb). Remove bolts (8). Remove front drive housing (7).

Remove O-ring seals (9) and (10). Installation Procedure

Illustration 5 g01267741Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring seals.
Apply Tooling (B) to the mating surface of the front drive housing. Install O-ring seals (9) and (10).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto front drive housing (7). The weight of front drive housing (7) is approximately 363 kg (800 lb). Install front drive housing (7). Install bolts (8). Install bolts (6).

Connect tube (5).

Connect bracket (4). Install covers (3). Connect tubes (1) and (2). End By:
Install the crankshaft front seal. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankshaft Front Seal - Install".
Install the idler gears. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Idler Gears (Front) - Remove and Install".
Install the engine oil filter housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Filter Housing - Install".
