High Pressure Gas Carburetor
Note: The following adjustments represent the factory settings for the carburetor. If adjustment of these controls is necessary in order to maintain emissions levels, check for a problem with the engine control system. Also check for a problem with the fuel system. Refer to the appropriate test procedure in this manual for information that is related to troubleshooting the control system or the fuel system.

The high-pressure gas carburetor
(1) Idle adjustment screw
(2) Adjustment for the emission control (load adjustment or power adjustment screw)
Turn idle adjustment screw (1) counterclockwise for four rotations from the closed position. Note: For adjustment of the idle adjustment, allow the engine to warm to normal operating temperature. Adjust the idle adjustment screw for the best characteristics for idle and acceleration.
Turn load adjusting valve (2) toward "R" to the maximum position (full rich setting). The "L" represents a lean adjustment for the fuel mixture. The "R" represents a rich adjustment for the fuel mixture.
