Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Thoroughly clean the area around the breather in order to prevent the entry of foreign matter into the top of the cylinder head and valve mechanism. After the breather is removed, put a clean cover over the opening in order to prevent the entry of airborne dust and abrasive particles.

Loosen the clamp (2).
Loosen the clamp (3).
Remove the breather (1). Note: The breather is mounted on cylinder 3 and cylinder 4 for the G3606 Engine. The breather is mounted on cylinder 4 and cylinder 5 for the G3608 Engine.Installation Procedure
Position the breather (1) on the engine.
Tighten the clamp (3) to a torque of 3.0 0.5 N m (27 4 lb in).
Tighten the clamp (2) to a torque of 3.0 0.5 N m (27 4 lb in).
