Disconnect batteries before performance of any service work.
2. Disconnect electrical wiring harness (1) from solenoid (2). Put identification on the hoses assemblies for installation purposes. Cap and plug all of the hose assemblies to prevent foreign material from entering the system.3. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (4) from the cab riser pump and the motor. Put plugs in the ends of the hose assemblies to prevent oil loss and to keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system.4. Remove bolts (5) and the washers that hold cab riser pump and motor (6) in position. Remove the cab riser pump and motor (6) from the machine. For the installation of the cab riser pump and the motor, reverse the removal steps.5. Check the condition of O-ring seals on hose assemblies (3) and (4). If the O-ring seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement. Refer to the Topic "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" in the "Operation and Maintenance Manual" for the proper filling procedure and the proper levels for the hydraulic oil system.6. Check the hydraulic oil system and fill as required.Disassemble & Assemble Cab Riser Pump & Motor
Start By:a. remove cab riser pump and motor 1. Remove hose (2) between switch (1) and the hydraulic pump and tank (8).2. Disconnect electrical wire (3) from solenoid (5).3. Loosen nut (4) and remove switch (1).4. Remove bolts (6) and the washers that secure pump motor (7) to pump and tank (8). For the assembly of the cab riser pump and the motor, reverse the removal steps.End By:a. install cab riser pump and motor
