Servicing The Rotor
Perform the following procedure before servicing the rotor:1. Disengage the rotor, if it is engaged.2. Set the parking brake on the propel system. 3. Raise the rotor to TRAVEL position. 4. Engage the rotor service lock.5. Tilt the hood fully forward by using the rotor hood service switch. 6. Reduce engine speed to low idle and raise the rear door. Install chain to prevent the door from drifting down. With the switch in Service position, the machine starting system is disabled. 7. Stop the engine. Leave the key in the ON position.8. Put the rotor service switch in the SERVICE position. Place a lock on the rotor service switch to lock it in the SERVICE position. The electric pump will release the rotor brake automatically.9. Do not start the engine again until all services are completed and all personnel are clear from the rotor area. Sound the horn three times prior to starting the engine.
