2. Turn fuel valve (1) to the "CLOSED" position. 3. Remove guard assemblies 92).
To prevent possible personal injury, release all the pressure from the hydraulic system and the air system before any lines are disconnected.
To prevent possible personal injury make sure the negative (--) terminal of the battery is disconnected first.
4. Disconnect battery cables (3) from the batteries. Make sure the negative (--) terminal is disconnected first. 5. Remove the bolts and disconnect clamps (4). Remove battery cables (3) from the battery box. 6. Use two persons and remove bolts (5) and drive tube assembly (6) from the machine. The weight of the drive tube assembly is 24 Kg (52 lb). 7. Disconnect wire harnesses (7) and (8).8. Disconnect hose assembly (9) 9. Remove the bolts and disconnect hose (10) from the block. Put plugs or caps in the oil openings to prevent any oil loss. 10. Disconnect hoses (11) and (12) from the retarder control valve. Put plugs or caps in the oil openings to prevent any oil loss.11. Disconnect hose (13) from the retarder control valve. 12. Disconnect hoses (14) from the transmission. Put caps or plugs in the oil openings to prevent any oil loss. 13. Disconnect hose assembly (15) from manifold (16). 14. Remove the bolts and steps (17) from the machine. 15. Remove hood support braces (18). 16. Remove engine support bolts (19) from each side at the front of the engine. 17. Remove engine support bolts (20) from each side at the rear of the engine. 18. Fasten a hoist to the power pack as shown. Remove it from the machine. The weight of the power pack is 3311 Kg (7300 lb).Install Power Pack
1. Fasten a hoist to the power pack as shown and put it in position on the machine. 2. Install engine support bolts (1) on each side at the rear of the engine. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb ft). 3. Install engine support bolts (2) on each side at the front of the engine. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb ft). 4. Install hood support braces (3). 5. Install steps (4) on the machine as shown. 6. Connect hose (5) to the fuel manifold. 7. Make sure the O-ring seals are in position in hoses (6) and connect them to the transmission. 8. Connect hose (7) to the regulator.9. Make sure the O-ring seal is in position in hose assembly (8) and connect the hose assembly on the retarder control valve.10. Connect hose (9) to the retarder control valve. 11. Make sure the O-ring seal is in position in hose (10) and connect it to the block as shown. 12. Connect wire harnesses (11) as shown.13. Connect hose (12). 14. Put drive tube assembly (13) in position and install bolts (14) that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 435 20 N m (321
