Put clean oil on the slipper face of each piston assembly. Install swashplate (26) and sleeve bearing in the pump housing. Ensure that the swashplate is seated on each piston assembly. The sleeve bearing is engaged in the servo piston and the pin is engaged in the control valve sleeve.

Install two spring pins in the front cover.

Install retaining ring (24) on shaft (21) .
Place the shaft and bearing in a press. Press bearing (23) onto shaft (21) until the bearing comes in contact with retaining ring (24) .

Install retaining ring (22) on shaft (21) .

Install the bearing and the shaft into the cover. Install one retaining ring (19). Install lip seal (20) and the second retaining ring (19) .

Install journal bearings (18) and gasket (17) on the cover. Lubricate the internal components with a small amount of hydraulic oil prior to installing front cover assembly.

Install front cover assembly (16) and seven bolts (15). Torque the bolts to a torque of 58 5 N m (43 4 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (14) and splined coupler (13) .

Install coupling (10), pin (11), and gerotor assembly (12) .
