Personal injury or death can result from a brake malfunction. Do not operate the machine if the brake was applied due to a malfunction of the brake system.Correct any problem before attempting to operate the machine.
Note: In order to prevent the machine from moving, block the drums in the front and the rear.The parking brake can be released with the manual parking brake pump. Use the following procedure to release the parking brake.

Illustration 2 g03015601Put blocks in front of drums in order to prevent the drums from moving.The manual release for the parking brake is located in the right side of the engine compartment.The needle valve (1) is locked in position by a lock knob. The lock knob is located under the knob for the needle valve.
Turn the lock knob in a counterclockwise direction until the lock knob is stopped by the knob for the needle valve.
Turn needle valve (1) in a clockwise direction until the needle valve stops. In order to pressurize the brakes, operate the plunger on the pump (2). The movement of the plunger will become difficult when there is enough pressure in order to release the brakes.
When the towing is complete, turn needle valve (1) counterclockwise until the needle valve stops. Tighten the lock knob in a clockwise direction.
