Introduction
This special instruction highlights the features of 379-3359 Speed Switch Assembly , which allows usage for 9Y-0901 Switch , 4W-9733 Governor Control As , and 7W-2743 Speed Switch Assembly applications. There are no changes to the current harness assembly or terminal connections. This document is for informational purposes only and highlights any unused connections depending on the intended application. Any current installation instructions are still valid and must be followed to ensure proper operation.

All existing terminal connections are not changed. The 379-3359 Speed Switch Assembly has an additional "Oil Step Latch" input connection at terminal "17" as well as three additional terminal connections labeled "Oil Step" at terminals "13", "14", and "15". These terminals are not used when replacing the 9Y-0901 Switch and must remain OPEN/DISCONNECTED.

All existing terminal connections are not changed. The 379-3359 Speed Switch Assembly has a terminal connection for a remote reset feature, labeled "RR" at terminal "1". Also, the module has an additional "Oil Step Latch" input connection at terminal "17" as well as three additional terminal connections labeled "Oil Step" at terminals "13", "14", and "15". These terminals are not used for the 4W-9733 Governor Control As and must remain OPEN/DISCONNECTED.
