Do not tilt the cab when occupied. Before tilting the cab remove all loose articles from the cab, secure all windows and emergency exits, and then close the cab and cab riser doors. Failure to do so can result in personal injury or damage to the machine.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the two lifting rings.Note: The lifting rings are located in the top rear corners of the cab. The approximate weight of the cab and riser is 1700 kg (3750 lb).

(1) Left side cab retention boltsNote: The cab retention bolts are located on the floor of the cab riser at the rear of the cab riser compartment.
Remove cab retention bolts (1) .

Raise the cab riser until the cab riser is beyond the center point.

Improper lifting or tiedowns can allow load to shift and cause injury or damage.
Do not apply too much pressure with the lifting device being used. Damage to the riser frame may occur.
Slowly lower the cab riser until the brackets can be installed, as shown.
Install cab retention bolts (1) .Raise

Attach a suitable lifting device to the two lifting rings.Note: The lifting rings are located in the top rear corners of the cab. The approximate weight of the cab and riser is 1700 kg (3750 lb).
Remove the brackets. Lay the brackets next to the generator control panel in the bottom of the housing.

Do not apply too much pressure with the lifting device being used. Damage to the riser frame may occur.
Raise the riser until the riser is beyond the center point.
Slowly lower the riser until the riser is in the original position.

Install cab retention bolts (1) .
Secure the cab retention bolts.

Remove the lifting device from the cab.
